The harsh weather like snow, rain and sun takes a toll on the property. Every homeowner needs to take care of their property by making sure certain tasks are completed before and after each season.

Summer:
Before the summer season sets in, here are some of the maintenance tasks that needs to be looked at BEFORE the weather sets in:
- turn on the water from the inside of the house
- turn on the water on the outside
- bring out the water hose
- put back the screens on the windows
- clean the deck or pressure wash the deck
- put back the patio furniture
- check for any cracks in the cement and fix them
- check for any cracks in the asphalt and fix them
- check and clean the gutters for any debris accumulated over the winter
- clean up any leaves from last year
- if you have a gas value, open the gas value from the inside
- turn ON the irrigation system
- clean the windows to let the sun shine in
- check and clean the main drains
- turn on the AC fuse
- clean the gutters and make sure the water flows away from the foundation
- check for broken caulking around the house
- replace the smoke detector battery
