Summer:
Before the summer season sets in, here are some of the maintenance tasks that needs to be looked at BEFORE the weather sets in:

  • turn on the water from the inside of the house
  • turn on the water on the outside
  • bring out the water hose
  • put back the screens on the windows
  • clean the deck or pressure wash the deck
  • put back the patio furniture
  • check for any cracks in the cement and fix them
  • check for any cracks in the asphalt and fix them
  • check and clean the gutters for any debris accumulated over the winter
  • clean up any leaves from last year
  • if you have a gas value, open the gas value from the inside
  • turn ON the irrigation system
  • clean the windows to let the sun shine in
  • check and clean the main drains
  • turn on the AC fuse
  • clean the gutters and make sure the water flows away from the foundation
  • check for broken caulking around the house
  • replace the smoke detector battery
